Ceramic Coating
Locks the correction in. A semi-permanent layer over corrected paint. Keeps the finish protected from Houston weather and cleaner for longer, and makes maintenance easier.

CQuartz ceramic coating
Applied after paint correction
Multi-year
How it works.
Wash and decontaminate
A thorough wash, then iron and tar removal and a clay treatment, so the coating bonds to clean paint.
Correct first
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so the paint is corrected before it goes on.
Prepare every panel
Each panel is wiped down to remove polishing oils, which would otherwise stop the coating from bonding.
Apply and cure
The coating is applied panel by panel and leveled by hand, then left to cure indoors, out of the weather.

Good to know.
- What does a ceramic coating do?
- It forms a hard, slick layer over the clear coat. Water and dirt slide off more easily, washing is quicker, and the paint is better protected from sun, bird droppings, and Houston weather.
- Does it stop scratches and rock chips?
- No. It resists light marks from washing, but it will not stop rock chips or deeper scratches. For impact protection, paint protection film is the right product, and the two work well together.
- How long does it last?
- Several years. How long depends on the coating, how the car is used, and how it is washed, and we will recommend a product to match.
- How do I look after it?
- Hand wash with a pH neutral soap, skip automatic car washes, and wash regularly so contamination does not sit on the surface.
